So soft. In fact, cupro is often used as a vegan and machine-washable alternative to silk because it’s smooth and drapes beautifully. Although it’s in the same family as rayon, it’s breathable like cotton. It’s lightweight, drape, and breathability make it ideal for warm weather.

Care

Normally, cupro can be machine washed on a delicate cycle and hand washing is recommended for best results. Store on hangers rather than folded as they might crease.

To hand wash:

1. Use a mild detergent and use cold water.
2. Rinse thoroughly with cold water.
3. Afterward, roll up in a thick towel to remove water. Do not wring or twist the fabric.
4. Carefully reshape on a flat surface to air dry.

To iron, use a pressing cloth and iron on the wrong side of the fabric on medium-low heat.
