Bday Drop - Remake
The items in our Bday Drop, are all a part of our Remake project with Textilfabriken in Borås.
We have utilized and altered some of our beloved, pre-existing dream styles, inspired by Matilda’s favorite vintage slip dresses.
We have paired our beloved Dream Dress styles with beautiful deadstock lace from Rekotex to bring you these limited edition, made-to-order, birthday exclusive pieces.
Textilfabriken is a micro factory in Matilda’s hometown, Borås. What makes Textilfabriken so special is their ability to produce sustainably with minimal material waste through their use of resource-saving design methods, upcycled materials, deadstock (like the lace used in this drop!), and local manufacturing.
Rekotex supplies deadstock fabrics between producing companies through a digital platform. They want to make sure that unused fabrics are put to good use instead of risking them going to waste. They see deadstock fabrics as a great asset rather than as leftovers, and so do we!
We are so excited for you to style this version of the Dream Dress in the way we have always hoped for - to be mixed and matched, dressed up or down, and most importantly, however makes you feel most beautiful and confidence.
